sickness rant

Every thursday we go to wriggly readers at the library.
It doesnt start til 10am but because we go there straight from sch run we go to coffee shop beforehand for frothy milk and fruit. Its also a good time to sit and chat with the kids for 25mins instead of dragging them round town :D

Sat there this morning with a mindee who's nearly 4 and was chatting away to her. I asked her what she had done yesterday as she doesnt come to me on Weds.
"Oh I stayed at home yesterday cos i wasnt feeling very well and I was sick at teatime and in the night. Mum gave me a bowl to go to bed with"

Oh right then....I thought to myself...GREAT STUFF!! :angry:

Aren't parents wonderful! Its amazing that they believe los of this age won't tell us these things :rolleyes: Did you ring the parents to meet and collect? I would have done and said have a good weekend.

Don't get me started on this .....i have 2 children sent knowing they were ill....have re written my sickness policy today!:angry: plus waiting for my family to go down with it!:angry:
