on days when the school closes with the schoolies i charge their normal contracted hours plus any extra they come for,, so if they are contracted 3-5.30pm but come and 8-9am but come 8am till 2pm I would charge from 8am till 2pm then 3-5.30pm which are the contracted hours does this sound right and fair? after all i am still prepared to have him till normal contracted time.

I just charged at my day rate when I had a little one yesterday who was supposed to be in pre-school :D

Think I would just charge the hours they were with me.

Would sooner the parents came earlier than risk them getting stuck.

ok so if i did a letter stating
' if the school is closed due to bad weather, failed heating or flooding and your child attends for the day you will be charged only for the hours your child attends with a minimum of 4hours charge if your child does not attend on these days then you will be charged the normal contracted hours.'

does this seem fair and does it make sense and is clear ?
