Does anyone else feel inferior when trying to form a partnership with nurseries or preschools? Dont know if it's just me or what but I always feel like I'm looked down on. :mad: 'shes JUST a childminder sort of thing'
One of my mindees used to go to nursery full time but Mum decided she would rather him go to a childminder so he started coming to me but went two mornings to the nursery to get his free sessions.
Everytime I picked him up it was a little frosty.........as I had actually taken their business away..The worst thing about it was they went out of business about a yr later..eek.
A lot of people dont know about all the work that goes into being a childminder and a lot of people are very surprised when i explain all the work I have to do.
