Variation.

I applied for a variation for 2 full days due to continuity of care last week, i think it was Monday.

Ofsted rang today and said yes :clapping:

So thats just 7 days :thumbsup:

I rang OFSTED for an emergency variation one Friday teatime and got a phone call saying yes by Monday teatime. Does that count as it was an emergency? lol!:)

Actually, I got given mine over the phone, so about......6 minutes?!:blush:

wow snap me too,, they recived mine last monday and I got it today,, they rang up and I asked if i had to wait unitll i had the cerftificate and he said yes but he emailed me a copy which i can use till the proper one arrives:D

Now that is actually quite worrying, might they actually be beginning to do things that are actually for our benefit or am I going to wake up soon and find this is all a dream?:eek: :eek: :eek:

My last one in August was done in 4 days over the phone and by email and I was told I didn't have to wait for the paper cert because the inspector who pahined me updated my details on the web site as we spoke and she said because it was on the web site with my report I was ready to go!

I have had one done in the past on a Friday by email and phone agreed ready to start at 9am on Monday.

seem to be pulling their fingers out, I had mine granted last Fri didn't need it till the 28th, was granted with immediate effect :eek:

still waiting for my report 2 be published though (almost 3wks now) though inspector did say it might take between 2-6 wks :rolleyes:

It's when Ofsted allow you to go over your normal minding numbers, e.g. if one of your part timers needs more hours and you haven't got the space, or if one of your mum's has a new baby and wants you to care for it along with the older sibling.
