Hi everyone im trying to lose weight too . I lose a couple of pounds sometimes, not sure weather to go for calories or fat content.

Good luck with your diet.

Probably best to be aware of both calories and fat I suppose, that's how Weight Watchers works with their points.

thanks yes i suppose it would be best ,trouble is at the end of the day i need that glass of wine, and anything else that is edible.

I would just go on a healthy eating diet lol

Red wine is good for the heart so you have to drink it and for nibbles just choose low fat or fat free crisps :D :D

Sorry i'm the worse person to give diet advice as i eat a load of rubbish, but i am here to give you lots of support and help whenever i can :)

If you watch your fat intake you will automatically be reducing calorie intake cos fats are so high in cals. Plus you can each much more of low fat foods for the same calorific value as high fat ones. I like to eat lots!!

I go to Slimming World, we don't count calories or fat intake really, it's split into 3 parts - Free Food, Healthy Extra food, and Synned food - if you have any questions about that let me know :)
