Does anyone know if the new ISA means that assistants have to be covered, my mam and dad are down as my assistants as I have them named as my emergency contacts, they are both police checked but will they now need to be ISA checked as well I can see me asking them for £64 each going down well, so I would more than likely have to pay it for them as they are pensioners.

There's a long thead on it here...

I don't think we know enough about it just yet to know what we will be expected to do... or whether funding will be available to help with costs etc...

It's a watch and wait scenario at the moment... :(

I agree with sarah - wait and see - but it will probably cost us in the end!
