I have just looked on line to check the progress for my CRB (and OH's too).

We have gone from stage 1 to stage 4 in 3 days. :clapping:

Does anyone know how long stage 4 takes to complete?

Everything seems to be coming together now, better get on and finish my risk assessments and tidy the garden too!

They can take up to 8 weeks at stage 4. Mydh and mine did and in the end i phoned the crb number and they work a bit different from ofsted as they take the 8 weeks from the day they receive it not 8 wks on stage4 as ofsted do. Hope that makes sense lol:laughing:

Stage 4 will take the longest as it's a manual check on your record by the local police station/s (if you have lived in several areas). Mine took 9 weeks and hubby works there!

Mine and my husbands took 10 days we haven't moved for 6 years though, not sure if that made the difference.

Mine and husbands went to stage 4 in 3 days, but has been sitting at stage 4 since October 3rd. Rang crb today to be told, cant do anything for another 8 days, then they will chase it up.
We have lived at same address for 13 years too, so not sure why taking so long.

mine was a couple of weeks and oh has been on stage 4 for 4 weeks, his has been 13 weeks in total, mine came back after 10 weeks (ish), when i was tracking them they were going to the next stage at the same time but now his is just stuck on stage 4 now! Weve called 3 times and they said they will push it again and to call back on wednesday if it does not come by then! It does get annoying as i cant advertise till it comes as ive lost parents already assuming it would be done by now!

My dh and 2 ds's came back 3 weeks ago. Iv been tracking mine since theirs came back and mine was at stage 4 then. Checked mine on 18th and noticed that stage 4 said completed on 17th:confused:

I hadn't noticed the date before but don't know how this can be. They have just changed the completed dates to suit themselves

It could be sat in a pile with others for weeks:panic:

Not much I can do but wait
