Hi guys.....just a quick one

On a risk assessment do you write the date that you did it and a review date?
When should this review date be unless some other changes have occured??

Thanks in advance

Sue

You should review at least annually and yes you should put the date the review is due on your risk assessment.

As Miffy advises, yes you put a writing date and a review date.

However review dates can be brought forward if something changes :D

also, when you review risk assessments, do you keep the old one in the file and write that it's been superseeded or do you take it out.

If I've reviewed it and there's been no changes I've wrote that on there and then the next review date, however if there have been changes I've re-typed it up and put that in the risk assessment file but kept the old on in there too.

If anyone could advise if this is right that would be very much appreciated. Or should I just keep current RA's in the file to avoid confusion?

Thank you

I just cross out old date and write new one in pen unless there is a big change, then I do a new one and keep the old one behind (in poly pockets in file) so Ofsted don't think there all done for inspection
