Just wondering if anybody asks mindees to complete a questionare about their experiences with us ? I'm wondering if there's something we could use for those who can't quite read yet but are old enough to understand? I've searched the forum but found no sugestions.

There was one on the Ofsted website.

Yep
Search "20 questions for children"
I have used these and parents helped the children.
Had some lovely answers and some funny ones.
Question 14 Do you know if anyone else lives here?
Mindee 3yrs old answered " there is a man called Keith who lives in the garage"
Let me explain....DH comes in just as mindee is going home and takes his kit bag into the garage through door in the hall!
My inspector laughed!!

Hi, I used the 'Mosaic Approach'. Ofsted were impressed.

Excellent book explaining the approach:

Listening to Young Children - The Mosaic Approach
Alison Clark and Peter Moss
National Children's Bureau

Its about how young children's views and experiences become the focus for reviewing services.

Hope this helps.
