Mud pies.....

Can I put making mud pies in the learning journey and what would they come under?

My learning journeys are also like a diary aswell, just so parents can see that I do activites with the children and not just plonk them down on the sofa infront of the TV :)

We had great fun doing mud pies last week (think I enjoyed it more than the children :blush: ) and I got some lovely photo's of them doing it, would seem a shame to waste the experience.

Sounds lovely. Depending on what you observed you can link in all sorts of ways

Were they 'measuring' ingredients/ talking about needing more or less, how full it was etc- PSRN

did they work together? Express enjoyment PSED

did they talk about what they were doing? CLL

Did they describe the texture etc? KUW

Did they use their pies to roleplay? CD

How did they use their bodies to create the pies (mixing/ sprinkling etc) PD


any good?
