I use NCMA and have been a member for years.

Lots of cms on here use MM and some of them use MM Insurance and are still members of NCMA.

NCMA insurance is cheaper at £23 but of course you have to pay for membership as well. So bear in mind if you go for MM Insurance which seems cheaper but add NCMA membership it will cost more.

MM is just an insurance company who sells policies. NCMA is a Chariety who represents childminders.

Yes Morton Michel insurance is £41.

There's a list of things covered on their website which you might want to look through before you make yoru decision.

As Ricky says Morton Michel are an insurance company - they also offer a childcare club, discounts, helplines, free magazines online and other extras.

You can be a member of NCMA without buying their linked insurance... they have similar offers and helplines to Morton Michel. NCMA rely on members to lobby the government on behalf of childminders.

I hope this helps :D
