Do I need to send a copy to the CSSIW?

Having recently been involved with potty training two of the children I mind, I have decided to introduce a potty training policy. The reason for this is a health and safety concern, which became apparent after having one set of parents believing it acceptable for their child to have several accidents in one day, every day at my setting.

As it is not a comulsory policy I wondered if I must send a copy to my inspector or not?

Would it not be better to update a health and safety policy {if you think it is to do with that} rather than have another policy?

If you do update the H&A one then yes, if not then no you don't.

No you don't. When you next complete your inspection paperwork it will ask for any new policies you have introduced and they will look at it then. I have a seperate policy as I think it needs to go a bit more indepth than a H 7 S one.
