Hi - just wondering what kind of toys have you got that have impressed OFSTED in terms of showing a diverse society etc. At mo all I can think of is ethnic baby dolls and ethnic little people and a wheelchair in the little tikes bus! Would like to have more but not really sure what else to get! Any ideas?

Sorry I haven't really got anything like this yet except for in books. Hopefully a wish list will do until I get some money in to start spending.

Books - try the library
Jigsaw puzzles
Puppets
Dressing up clothes
Play food and utensils
It doesn't matter what you have the inspectors are looking to see how you use things to help children learn about the society we live in and the wider world
As Sarah says there is lots of info on the forum so have a good look round
