Hello,

I have just spoken to my landlord.. who is happy for me to childmind from the property, but he's spoken to his insurance company and they've said that it would invalidate his insurance.... how can I get round this?

I know lots of you mind from rented accommodation and it's not an issue!

Please help! xx

I rent but its a council property. I have heard of landlords finding it difficult to get landlords insurance for tenants to run a business.

Sorry but your landlord needs to change insurance company! I am a landlord and I decide which company I go with so could this be his polite way of saying No? Can't see that you can do anything unless he is prepared to change to a company that would accept you childminding:)
