I have a grant and im struggling what to buy under the catergory of ict i have baught a netbook

but what else please helpxx

any electronic toys - things that count, play tunes, or generally a noise of some kind but has to be operated by a human!!! i didnt realise they came under itc until recently.... :blush:

Remote control cars, dvds, cds, cd players, tvs, computer games (educational of course, LOL!), wii, walky talkies, etc

Basically anything electronic that you have to operate some how. I'd advise getting a lot of batteries too!

Oh, another one... Talking books or read along books with CD's / Tapes.

ICT - is anything programmable, electronic, turn on/off able.

try to think of ICT for outside as well.

Beebots are fab resources
Voice recorders
Story Phones
Walkman style cd/music players
cheap MP3 players
keyboards
walky talkies
remote control toys
digital cameras

Even calculators come under ICT. Telephone (maybe not a working one! Dont want the LOs calling 999!)

We were also supplied FOC with ICT stuff . . . the best bits were the Notebook and TOUCH SCREEN MONITORS . . . and the kids love it, from 1 yr to 10 yrs . . . the touch screen monitor is FABULOUS!!!!
