As some of you know, my son (aged almost 15 months) has had a horrible red rash all around his mouth and on his cheeks for months now, and doctor didn't seem very bothered.

You got me all fired up  so we went to the doctor again today - a different gp to our normal one. Anyway, to cut a long story short, my son has been given antibiotics (called flucloxycilin) and we have to go back on friday as he wanted to speak to a dermatologist with a view to a referral.

Feeling much more positive - hopefully we'll get it sorted now and my son will start to look less neglected!

Thanks for all of your advice and encouragement
