Do you see friends while you're working?

I've only recently started and my friends are asking me to meet up etc, and I'm just wondering what the deal is with seeing friends (with other children) whilst we're minding?

Obviously I'd never leave them alone or anything like that - just wondering if it's okay to have them over for play dates etc?

Yes, I've been to the farm with my DD, mindee, friend and her son today. Sometimes I go to her house or she comes here. The three children are a similar age so it is nice to meet up.

yes fine, you need to be aware of risks if you go to their home, just as in your home but of course you can!!

Yes I do! I just get them to sign the vistor book, or we meet out. Also, as time has gone on, more of my friends are local childminders, so we definatley meet up!!

all my freinds are childminders but I have my parents comming friday and i am still working so dont see why you cant.
