Blimey that was quick

I phoned Ofsted last Friday to pay my fees and to change my certificate as my son is now 8.

I was told not to expect anything for about 4 weeks as they were very busy and had a backlog of variations to get through.

Certificate arrived this morning, which has got to be pretty quick for Ofsted :thumbsup:

that's ridiculous those certificates can be done in 48 hours - it's hardly a variation - must have got some right jobsworth on the phone hon:laughing:

I called on 6th Sept to say dd was starting full time school on the 7th and could I have my numbers changed? He said he didnt see a problem with it.

- no sign of a new certificate yet!

I must have been lucky then, thought it was quite quick.

Juggler, when I spoke to him on the phone, he said that he would send it to the variations team, which I thought was weird as it is not really a variation, it is only adding that I can have one extra child under the age of 8 as my son is now 8. They had all the details there because he said "oh yes your son G" and gave me his date of birth.
