i'm just waiting for my certificate so will be working very soon (i hope) but ive had some ask me for rates for a one off in nov

herself and her husband would like to go away for the weekend without the children so would be from friday afternoon ish till sunday afternoon ish so she's asked how much i would charge for 48hrs and 24hrs (she may use a friend aswell).
her children are aged 4 (almost 5) and the little fella will be 8 months by then.

thankyou for that. most have said aprox £40 for overnight so do i charge £80 for x2 children overnight then normal daily rate durng the day just seems to be adding up to alot of money ( good for me but not so good for parents) so may decide against me having them. really stuck here :(

Personally I wouldn't do it but if I did then my charges are £6 an hour for each child. Going to cost them a lot I think!

Do you know the children already? I don't think I would be happy caring for children I didn't know properly for that length of time away from their parents at those ages. I don't offer overnight care but do charge £5 per hour for weekend work (normal rate is £3.50).

I would charge £50 from 8pm to 8am and then time and half for the rest of the day
