Ive been asked to do a course on the above as no training since I did my ICP course over 3 years ago.

We have no funding in our area at the moment and having real trouble trying to get myself booked on one.:(

Ive looked on line at Virtual College (http://www.virtual-college.co.uk/?A=469&B=1&SubAffiliateID=VConlineC%22%20Target=%22_blank%22) but cant see anything.

Any ideas please

who has asked you to do a course?

Would background reading be enough?? :D

Ofsted, I dont really want to go into the reasons, its a action I have to complete

it states
demonstrate how further, training, skills and knowledge will be developed, this refers to developing knowledge on how childrens behaviour must be managed effectively and in a manner appropriate for their stage of development and particular individual needs.

She wanted me to go on a course but I cant find any.

I did one a couple of years ago, it was run by surestart. I found it really useful.

I did one at the local children's centre entitled Managing Challenging Behaviour

I think that it would be a good idea here that I sent the children I look after on a course instead of me, they might understand things better.
