I do, all I say is that a child that attends has a tummy bug, I don't say who it is :)

i have let parents know and their lo has a runny tummy today too :panic: .

even though i am very efficient with the dettol spray it has obviously spread . i will review my practice, even though not sure what to improve other than wearing gloves when changing nappies. but even that won't prevent bugs from spreading.

thank you!

It happens, don't stress, these things spread easily, I'm sure you're doing all you need to.

we should inform parents of all sickness with in setting but remember not to mention names even if the parents guess who it is... we need to inform so others can keep an eye out e.g high temperature etc..

I would definately let parents know, least they are aware and you've been honest with them. :)

Yes, you should let the parents know so they themselves can watch their own child for any symptoms but the identity of the poorly child must not be disclosed.
