tips from my inspection

Had my inspection today and it went well. Thought I'd share the types of things CCO was looking for. Partnership with with parents was the biggie, so find ways of proving how you involve parents and children in your business and their care, this is for standard of care, environment and staffing. Everyone I know has been inspected on these statements.

Other areas inspected vary, but if you've had an inspection before it is important to find ways of evidencing what changes you have made to your service and how the service users were included in this.

It's horrible waiting isn't it, I was lucky this time self assessment had to be in by 23rd Aug, so didn't have long to wait at all.

I remember, we got our big white envelopes on the same day!
