four weeks ago i was handed notice form one of my parents, her son only attends one morning a week but he has been here for a year.

I got all of his bits together, put his LJ into a clip file, made a photo collage of the different things he's participated in over the last 12mths and made him a card :)

Mum arrived with a lovely bunch of flowers for me and some chocs to share with the others and a lovely thank you card..............Well

an hour later she sent me a text "we can't leave you, we miss you already, can B come back? is it too late? have you filled his place? can I put him back in?"

I agreed, as long as she didn't want her flowers and choc's back :magnificent:

It's a lovely compliment but seems strange that she gave notice and then changed her mind so quickly.

How lovely but why did she give notice?

She gave notice as "its the only thing I can cut back on", she doesn't work and coming to me was his 'sociallising time'.

Well he has come on leaps and bounds in the last year....but then they do change from a year old to 2yrs old! But this change is dramatic :D

She gave notice 4 wks ago as her husbands work had gone from 5 to 4 days a week, she can't work as she's expecting again....to be honest I think she just panicked about money!

There is a space for him at our Children's Centre on a sponsored placement and she was going to take this up, but obviously changed her mind.

i think she is one of the lucky parents who realise that there child is just better of where they are:clapping: :clapping: some just move them for the sake of it and i wonder how many regret it after?:panic:
