help me im confused

i want to start my own childminding service from home. but i dont know where to start and who to contact.
i have worked in childcare for 6 years and have my NVQ level 3 and recently done my first aid in nov 2009.
someone please lead me in the right direction??? :(

I contacted my local family information service, I found the number on my local councils website. They then sent me some information out regarding a childminding briefing session :)

I start my course next week :)
