so I'm putting it here. I've got my NVQ assessor coming tomorrow to observe me observing a child :eek: I've got to do a craft activity (anything), but the only mindee I will have tomorrow doesn't really sit still long enough! has anyone got any ideas of what I can do that will keep him occupied for a little while - something simple. I was thinking of making paper plate animals - was going to do the majority, ie painting them, so it's dry, and then he can decorate whatever animal he chooses.

mine came yesterday, was mainly for speach and language so we blew bubble pictures, added mosaic squares with glue (children added this unplanned). We dug in the sand, made castles and moats, talked about the seaside, then using blue and yeallow material made a 'beach' and had a picnic on it.

When I had my NVQ assessor round, I had drawn around each of the children, they then painted themselves (the paper version). They really enjoyed that.
