We'll I rang for a variation last week, they emailed me the paperwork which I filled in & emailed back the next day..

Fingers crossed.

I know it's about a 4 week's wait, but have any of you guys rang to see how it's going, or should I just leave it until I hear from them.

I know they could come out & look at my setting due to me requesting 2 under 1's.....I'm due my inspection May next year-do you think they might kill 2 birds with 1 stone & do my inspection if they come out regarding my request?

sorry to babble..:D

I need a variation for 1/2 hour for 2 weeks from 20th September. Was thinking of ringing and asking my inspector to ring me back.

I can't see them coming out to you for 2 under 1's unless there were concerns at your last inspection

Just expect the certificate through the post

i applied for one on the 16/8.

Standard email reply said two weeks, so I will wait until next week to start chasing up.

needed for 9/9

I chased mine up as they hadn't replied within the two weeks and the inspector rang me back within the week.

I applied for mine on 9th August - need it for 31st so I rang them last Thursday to chase it up. It hadn't yet been allocated and I was advised that once it was allocated it would be about 4 weeks. I explained the situation and the lady said she'd see what she could do.

I got a call the following day (20th August) and they approved it!!!! No visit required (I've only just been inspected) I just had to answer a few questions.

I'm just waiting for my amended certificate now!
