These are really easy to do. I did sprinkle cocconut on top like someone suggested and my tribe have very quickly finished them :thumbsup:

These would also be great with Nutella instead of jam - it goes all puffy and cake-y if you bake it....mmmmm:)

they look yummy,, wonder if you can use chocolate spread with them instead of jam as one of my mindees dont like jam,, or I guess i could leave them plain

Yum - thanks for link. All mindees off school this week - so trying to fill the time wont be so easy and it gives rain all week :(
Have an 11, 10, 9, 6, 6, 4 & 3 year old to amuse ........ and feed :panic:

I tried your sugggestion, I made half with jam and half with Nutella. The Nutella doesn't melt flat into the 'hole' like the jam does. It kind of stayed as a lump in the middle, the jam spread across the biscuit. I'll post a picture on my blog later to show what I mean.

I'm gonna try these with a new toddler next week as his mum will apprec a batch being sent home - ie def not in my fridge! However was a bit surprised for this to count as healthy eating on the BBC good food website . . White flour, saturated fat, White sugar, sugary jam . . Doesn't that qualify as junk food? Sorry for the downer comment . . I'm still gonna make them tho . .
