I'm fed up aswell!!!

I was supposed to have a child arrive 7.30am this morning so I got up and organised for the child to arrive. 7.40am I get a text message from mum saying she has the day off so will be late. It is now 11am and I am still waiting.

My next child was due at 9.30am, by 10am there was still no sign of him so I text mum. She has replied she has gone on holiday a cheap last minute camping holiday and forgot to tell me.

Why do I bother I feel like I'm just a door mat today.

Too true! It is a horrible feeling - when you feel like you are being taken for granted. But look at this way...you can put your feet up, have a cuppa and it will be a nice short friday for you. However, i too would feel miffed for not being told. They think because they are paying you might as well still get up! It's their way of getting their own back on you for charging for holidays I think! :mad:

i am cross as well, mum sends lo with a bladder and throat infection, diagnosed yesterday! now she doesn't answer her phone or my text. :angry:

maybe it is time to look for a different job for me.....
