and I didn't swear once.

I put the work onto a new programme that gave me extra space and it didn't save it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I could swear, rant and rave, cry or just get stuck back in.

So, after having the kiddies all day I have buckled down and got on with it (making the day really long).

Only got A and B left to do.

There is light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm NEVER doing another long course again (Have done DHC Unit 2, 3, 4 and 5 - 1 after the other).

Rant over, sorry.

Well, just to make matters worse I had done 6 solid hours on the PC on Sunday.

Had the usual: husband not coping, where's this, where's that (more trouble than my kids lol).

Saved it all - then realised it hadn't saved - so thought, don't get stressed - busy week ahead with the school holidays. Did 2 more hours and that didn't save either.

Usually I print off every page that I write but I had run out of ink (typical).

Ah well, worse things happen.

I really felt like giving up.

I have a shredder next to my computer and each page I wrote on the computer I shredded my notes :panic:

We have a great man to do our computer who used to work for the police in the States retrieving data that had been wiped off.

A couple of weeks ago DH took the computer back to factory settings to solve some problem. HE said he told her SHE said he didnt! My 19 year old had not backed her files up. All her music from i tunes , photos and course work was gone:eek: Well that was it world war 3 broke out. Her world was at an end and i could understand it, she was in floods of tears.

Well bless him i called him on a sunday grovelling for having the cheek to phone then, could he do anything. He came out the next day and got it all back for her, peace was restored. She did not leave home! she did speak to him again!
So infomation can be clawed back IF you know how. He is great there is no problem he cannot solve.

As welll as saving my work, I always email it to myself as well so that if my very old and tempermental computer crashes on me I can always retrieve it from another.
