Need some ideas for things to do with a 4 year old and a 2 year old all he likes to do is play with cars and watch films and i always seem to have deliverys being made on the days he comes what in house activities could i do ???

My little ones are really into making dens at the moment.
I give them a blanket and off they go rearranging the furniture and cushions and bringing toys into their new space.
Do you have structure to the day? Children thrive on that. We usually have a morning outing, including snack followed by some free play, then lunch and quiet time with a short TV programme.
Then in the afternoon I plan a craft or we play football together in the garden - something we all do as a group.
My boys love dancing, so I often put the music on and we have a bop. They are also really into drawing and I make sure there are different resources for them to find such as postcards, decorating with bits of material etc.

use bricks to build garages for the cars
painting using toy car tyres
cut out cars from magazines/ newspapers
counting, colour matching cars
role play mechanics
go for a walk to car dealer- see if u can get some leaflets for art
