activity ideas for moving house

my mindee is moving house this week, does any one have any ideas of things I can do with him? My mind has gone blank!

Get them to draw a picture of their new home with the family standing outside.

Unpacking boxes, drawing pictures to decorate rooms with, making some flowers to give to mum as a house warming pressie ... erm

mindee is 2.5 so not able to do a huge amount but still wanted to do something.

hmmmm will think on it, flowers for mum and picture for dad seem like a lovely idea tho!

I have moved house quite a few times (husband is in the RAF) with my own little ones in tow and I found that talking about it lots and lots really helped them to understand what will be going on.

Is your mindee moving away from the area completely or just moving house locally?
