When you start childminding, do you have to have your crb's on show or show them to prospective parents or is it a case of parents know you have to have had one done to be a childminder and therefore it can just be filed away? (<---- doesn't take much!!!)

I would of thought it could just be filed away as it has nothing to do with anyone else what you may or may not have done years aago......As long as Ofsted say its ok then thats good enough. But im not 100% coz im pre-reg to. :)

You can just file them away - but make sure htey are accessible.

Are you being shown how to put together a portfolio of evidence as part of your pre-reg?

They would file in the organisation bit of that :D
