How do you all deal with this subject? I'm soooooooooooooo sick of hearing "x did this" or "x said that" blah blah blah. Driving me up the wall!

Unless it's dangerous or grown up (ie swear words) - I don't want to know....I also refuse to be put in the middle so I have to referee - I say, *I have confidence that you 2 can work something out that is fair to you both*... & I remove myself. Mostly they do, but on occassion or with young children sometimes suggestions are needed. I got these tips from here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Siblings-Without-Rivalry-Children-Together/dp/1853406309/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1280790558&sr=8-2-spell (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1853406309?ie=UTF8&tag=childminding-21&linkCode=as2&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=1853406309">Siblings Without Rivalry: How to Help Your Children Live Together So You Can Live Too (How to Help Your Child): How to Help Your Children Live Together So You Can Live Too (How to Help Your Child)</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.co.uk/e/ir?t=childminding-21&l=as2&o=2&a=1853406309" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;)

(Fabulous book - the priciples apply to groups of children & not just siblings)!

As above really , i try and let them sort it out.
or if its tellingon somone doing somthing wrong,, ie climbing a fence when i said no and the othe child tells then I will say 'oh is he?, or' ok then" then when the childs not looking i will go and talk to the other child.
at the moment I have one that loves to wind up my son, my son will then snap and push the other child and then whilst i tell my son up the other child stand the grining!!, i now look at him and say , well if its funny i must be ok for M to push then!! normaly stops the grining.
Also, like yesterday, they were all told to stop climbing in the tree (unsafe broken branch), whilst child was playing near me he suddenly turned round, stared for a few mins then said in a very loud voice 'hello M' then looked at me,, i looked and M was in the tree, I just ignored the child untill i could go to M quietly and talk to him.
I think some kids just take great delight in getting others in to trouble which is why with this child i deal with the trouble part when he's not looking.
