I write them into my contract as well -
I put on the space for notes:

I have seen, read and understood the Policies and Procedures and agree to abide by them.

This then makes your P&P's part of the actual contract (according to NCMA).

I also get them to sign a separate sheet saying they have received, and understood the P&Ps (listing each one seperately - one signature).

On the bottom of each page of my P&P's I also have
This P&P is part of the Contract that you sign. Please ensure that you have read and understood all documentation.

I have a sheet too listing all my policies and that the parents have read, understood and agree with them.

Whenever I update my policies I get them to sign to say they have received updated policies too.:D
