Hello to ALL mummies ( And Daddies).

I am just starting anew FLEXIBLE childcare service called ***********.

As you might guess from the name, I am offering one to two hour sessions on a very adhoc basis.

I currently work as a Hospital Play Specialist on the Peadiatric Burns unit and have a gore goes little 13 month old tot of my own.

the service offers hour sessions where your child or children would come to the park with us, feed the ducks, have a kick around, visit a toddler group with us, or any other activity you or your child fancies.

The idea is that if you are a full time parent, single parent, or a working parent with not quite enough hours in the day, George and I would come to the rescue at short. Notice.

If you simply want an hour once a week, month or year to yourself, or you have a two hour appointment then we are happy to help.

not only is it a chace for extra socializing for your child , ( a key stage in healthy development) it also allows you some free time without having to have you little on in a childcare setting for a minimum of a morning!!!!!!!

So, if you are a mummy how loves their bundle , but could use an hour away every now and then, without feeling guilty, then please do get in touch.

Please initially emal me if you are interested and I will get in touch.

She's offering an occasional sitting service, for under the 2 hours required before registration. MM offer insurance that would be appropriate for this, if that is what you have the problem with. I imagine it would be money up front, and I'm sure as a hospital play therapist she understands the need for holding contact details. Can't see any problem with her offer.

I wouldnt use it but I dont think she is breaking any laws and I am sure there are people who would find it useful. I just hope she is who she claims to be.

i thought she could mind for 2 hours in total in any one day, so if she is offfering more than one family at different times and it adds up to over 2 hours she would need to register surely?

If she is such a specialist why has she not used any kind of spell check or even the correct grammar?
As long as she gets the specialist MM insurance and gets some kind of 'booking' form from the parents then there is no trouble with it.

The only work she might get is from people doing shopping but then what if it goes over the two hours????

If she cannot even spell her own job properly as well as the other things I for one wouldn't use her service as I would want better for my own child even for a short time. I know we are all guilty of spelling words incorrectly, but when it is advertising your work surely you would make sure it is right. Maybe I am too fussy:blush:
