New to childminding ... awaiting certificate. I'd like to know your opinions on the poster i've just designed. Is it appropriate to have your own kids on the poster?

It looks great! Cant see why you couldnt have your kids on the poster.

it looks really nice and i think its ur personal decision to have ur kids on there if u dont mind no one else would surely??:)

I wanted to put a picture on as it adds a bit of interest... but didnt want to use a 'random' picture of baby or child.
Glad you like it... i really want to get this 'right' from the start!

Is there anything else you would add ( ie large garden, sand/water play etc)?? Or do you feel this is enough info for a poster.
Think im gonna have identical business cards too

Hi I know that is a photo of your own children, but it looks like a professional one, please make sure that you are able to use it and it doesn't have a copyright on it!

Hi, yes its a professional photograph - i have it on disc complete with copyright email
ihave my kids pics on my website...as i didnt want to use mindees pics.

very nice - and I like the fact it says qualified nursery nurse, would encourage me to phone.

I think it looks fab.It doesn't say they're your kids so no one will know unless they come for a visit which means theyre interested.It looks like they're just child models.I personally can see no harm especially if your comfortable with it.Good luck from a fellow Nursery Nurse childminder :)

Thanks for your opinions! Im going ahead with it and have printed and laminated a few! Putting one up in the pre-school reception that my daughter attends, one up in school near to me. Not really sure where im gonna put the rest!

Try the doctors surgery, Library, Childrens Centre if you have one, your own front window, if it can be seen from the road, your car window, as long as it doesn't detract from your vision. Good luck with it, its a lovely picture :clapping:
