Is there a way of having a rough idea how many children I could have in my home?

I need to know that I could earn what I need for me to quit my job and I don't want to quit to find that I only can have 1 child as that won't cover my bills.

On the ground floor, I plan to use the dinning room and living room as play space (approx 247ft2 or 23m2) and the upstairs back bedroom for sleeping (115ft2 or 11m2)

I also have back garden which is full enclosed and a park less than 5 mins away (which I will take full advance of)

Anyone any ideas?

Do you have any children of your own? If so, what are their ages as they will be included in your numbers!

Not yet but the plan is to have one before I start so at the point of starting I would have a 6-9 month old (or thats the theory anyway)

Your house sounds similar size to mine and I have large furniture, I can have 3 under 5, and 2 in the 5 to 8, as I have a son who is currently 7.

So I would think you could have (if babe happens and age 6-9mths when you start), 2 under 5 (none under 1), and 3 in the 5-8 age range.

When you have you pre reg visit the Inspector will tell you how many you can have!

Thanks - I need at least 2 spaces on top of my child for it too work so it gives me an idea that it's possible and I am not completely wasting my time.
