Wow that's great! Did you buy them as a kit and if so, where from?
My own children did this at school a few years ago but they didn't turn into butterflies :(

Yes we have just done this for the second time, it is amazing such a beautiful thing to see, my dd cried last year when it was time to say goodbye, but they hung around the garden for a few days. This year she just went briefly quiet but the butterflies went straight off never to be seen again!

Ooh they are fab  I'm a little squeamish about bugs and stuff :o but I think my kids would love it.

my kids have mostly all loved it. The little lad I really did it for as he is into the hungry caterpillar was fine with them at the caterpillar stage but now they have hatched its freaked him out and he cant look at them without screaming blue murder :(

Awesome! Ours are doing great now - they've not yet changed into butterflies, they only became chrysalides yesterday. The kids (and me!) are absolutely fascinated with the process. I thought they'd get bored (3 under 5 and an 8yo), but every day the first thing they want to do is check on them - I'm so glad I got the Butterfly Garden and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who would listen
