Hi,

I am putting some laminated photos up outside of the children doing 'splashy' things as they LOVE the word 'splash' at the moment!!

I'd really like the word 'splash' on a big splat or water drop or something and some watery words and numbers on splashes too..... I can't find any, can you help please????

Thanks, Jen x

Could you make your own using clip art? One of our favourite books is Down by the Cool of the Pool and that has a HUGE SPLASH at the end. Also Pig in the Pond.

Hi Annie,

I will make my own as a last resort but thought I'd try the time-saving option of assking around first!!

Thanks, Jen x

those gel number letters are good as they are kind of splashy inside.

Also make puddles and have a wellie jump session.

Just found these posters from wateraid.... they are lovely and show how people in developing countries access and use their water.

Soooooo tempted, but sooooo skint this month, have a list of things I'd like to buy.... I keep telling myself that once I'm fully resourced I'll stop and It'll be cheaper.... does it ever happen though??!!

lots of the educational catalogues do them - sure HOPE and SBS would do them. sound like they're having lots of fun. Don't know how old they are but if you're dropping things to make a splash you could introduce height and weight and cause and effect, by comparing how distance and weight make the bigger splashes - get a bit of PSRN/KUW in there;)

ooh thanks Jenni, these are great. I have lots of lo's who love my hose and waterplay and constantly explaning why we mustn't waste water and fill the watercans buckets rather than just spray it everywhere is hard - these will really help.:D
