Hello, told you it wouldn't be long before I start asking my first questions.
So far, I have put together:
- policies
- childminding hours, fees, general info
- registration form
- menus
- long term plan
I have to sort out:
- car insurance
- house insurance
- change my liability insurance
- short term plan
- contract

an off course find mindees!!!!!
Anyway, my question is, is that everything I need on starting or is there something that I have forgotten. I have had my pre-reg visit and CRB check.

Also does it make sense to start planning now or do I wait to have children and know their ages so that I can plan activities according to abilities?
It just seems better for prospective parents to see a portfolio of activities but very difficult to plan not knowing age...Do I make sense???
Thanks for your help

Have you done your first Aid course ???

I would wait until you know what age mindies you will be getting, but you could write out what activities you can offer to show parents :D

you could always do some genral planning for festivals ect. would be good to show Ofsted also.

When I had my inspection I remember saying I know it's sad but I enjoy planning, sorting out paper work ect and it went down as good organisation skills (lol if you knew me better:laughing: )
