when is it ok to have a child back who has had impetigo she say it has crusted over but on one site it says only have children back when the crust has falled off. sending child back at 7.30am tomorrow. Also I have to watch I dont catch it and pass it to my husband as he has to have radiotherapy in about 2 weeks.

some say 1-3 days too.

Personally I would say no under your circumstances.

Give NHS direct a call for futher advice and explain to Parents that your Husband is at risk and could potentially cause more health risks if he becomes ill and unable to have radiotherapy.

Don't risk your husband's health!!

I would say totally covered or scab fallen off but with your circumstances it's not worth it until it's completely gone.

I hope your husband is managing the treatment and you've holding up ok V xx

I agree, don't have the child back until you are satisfied it is no longer infectious.
