Been doing some planning around colours - will do a different colour each week

but what can I put in the PSED..... for activity ideas

Base it on each childs favourite colour, find objects, sticky pictures etc of these???????????????????? Talk about how each colour makes them feel.........red hot.......blue......cold ......yellow happy etc. Am i on the right track?

If they bring something in from home, you could get them to tell everyone about it, share it round etc.(self confidence)

Their "favourite"colours, personal to them.(dispositions and attitudes)

choose foods from the supermarket from that colour also come dressed in the colour you are doing

Discuss vehicles that are RED like fire engines, post vans. How do these vehicles help us.
Traffic lights. what do the colours meen to traffic.
Blue sky. light in the day , dark at night.Frightened about the dark?
Special colours in their bedroom. did they choose them.
Crossing the road. Green man/ red man. when its safe.
Zebra crossings. black and white. Safe to cross.

You could also link colours to feelings - red for angry, green for feeling sick etc
