Got lady commng in an hour with a 2yrold,, normaly when parents come i invite them to sit down , a little chat then offer a cuppa, while i make the cuppa i give them my folder and pictures to look through then we chat and the children play,,
is this the best way to do it?
what do you all do when prospective parents come?
do you have any tips
I hve done this lots before and got children but the last few parents i seemed to have scared off so wonded what i could do different.

I give parents my paperwork to look through and then I chat to and play with the child - I think parents want to see how their child gets on with you and vice versa

You can deal with the paperwork side of it later.

Hope it goes well

thanks folks, it seemed to go well,, they have other people to see so fingers crossed.
she did say as she left that she was impressed with what she saw , they were here about 1hour and had a good chat and asked lots of questions and it was all quite relaxed, i think it helped that the two children i am looking after 2 day were brilliantly well behaved,, just hope that dosent mean im in for an afternoon of trouble lol!
