I've been to the firestation today. Mindees were so looking forward to it - so was I:blush:
It was great and they even let each of the 10 kids fire the hose - twice each.... my hose mad mindee will just think my garden hose is rubbish now:laughing: :laughing:

It's a great trip out to the fire station for the children and US :thumbsup: I did it last year and the children loved it, sitting in the fire engines, trying on the helmets with support as sooooo heavey and firing the hose pipe. Great fun!
we are going to local sure start fire safety day on thursday to see the fire engines ( and fire men:rolleyes: ) ....:thumbsup:

How did you go about organising this?
a few of us decided we wanted to do it as a group. One of my friends phoned up to ask about dates and co-ordinate the date. Just phone your local station. We were 11 kids and 5 mums/minders.
