completely new, crb question

Hi all,

am going to first meeting 21st june

i will sign up for the next available course as keen to start work asap

i already have food hygiene and am booking a first aid course.
can i apply for the crb check at any stage???? ie could i start that off now
or is it something thats done at a specific stage of getting registered?

any info greatly appreciated for this excited newbie :)

Ofsted do the Crb, when I registered it was when she came for my pre reg but I have heard other people post the forms off. You just have to wait til they send you your application pack.

ah thanks, ive read lots of people saying theyve been waiting for crb for so long i thought it might be something i could apply for whilst in the real early stages but no such luck.

am sooo excited to just get started but going to have to be patient through the process i think!!!

In my experience i sent my registration forms off with my medical/doctors form to OFsted and they called to say they were filled in ok, then a few days later recieved my CRB forms which i posted back when i completed them

i have had my Pre reg this morning so just waiting for the CRB now ! ! ! ! !

i no what you mean about being excited i cant wait to start
