"tyedye" butterflies

This is from the SCMA mag :)

Use coffeefilters to make butterfly wings, mix a small amount of water with different food colourings, and drip them on, they will spread ( can use a dropper for this, but I guess that using a thin brush and dripping it off end would be as good) colours will spread out and blend together.
using a wooden clothes peg draw eyes on, and kind of clip the wings into it ( not entirely sure how though!)

Sounds very pretty and easy to do ( apart from the peg bit!)
