We have a couple of montessori trained minders on the forum- i am sure they will give you lots of information.

Montessori is a lovely method/theory - pure montessori is a bit rigid for my liking but nevertheless its very close to home based childcare. its about teaching from concrete life expriences. giving children proper cutlery rather than plastic for example, using natural resources and materials.

Google Maria Montessori and you will get lots of information

My two eldest went to a montessori nursery and i think it is fabulous.

It is well respected and i know the nursery has a huge waiting list. if you check on ebay they always have some montessori learning toys on as i beleive they are exspensive.
