2 yo decided it would be funny to pour his milk on the floor, definately did it delibarately as I saw it. He's refusing to wipe it up. He's only just 2 - would you stand your ground or give up and wipe it up yourself? He's refused for half an hour and he's normally a sunny good little boy :(

If it is a stand off I would clean it up myself, totally ignore him and put him up a table away from others with pen and crayons

I'd do the same. It will smell if left.

:( Beaten by a 2 year old! He goes in 10 so I'll wipe it up when he goes. He wants my son to come and play but is not getting that

Yes it needs cleaning up but yes it does matter who is to blame behaviour like this need nipping in the bud in my view.

Just 2 is a little young but by 2 1/2 3 yo they would cleaning it up if it were not an accident in my house

I ended up cleaning it up in the end because he point blank refused. I really hope it's a one off though as just 2, as you say, is so little - it's not like I can reason with him. All he would do is cry and say ''no' or 'I don't want to' when I asked him to!
