Any ideas where the best place is to buy some books that show disabiltiy and different cultures or am I best just to get them from the library?

I think you will be able to get some from Chelltune (is that the right name?) shortly.

You could look her up in the members list and send her a pm to ask. Her items are always really good and there's a fast delivery too.

I tell you who else is good too - Amazon! You can get practically any book you want and sometimes you can get them second hand and they're really, really cheap.

Chell's site is here - http://www.chelltune.co.uk/

I know she's always researching new ranges to show disabilities, she's especially interested in hearing aids and the like and very passionate about BSL (British sign language)

The other site I use is here - http://www.childreninthepicture.org.uk/

Loads of info on this one and posters showing disabled children in normal contexts

Hope it helps x :D
