I am wanting to jazz up my menus in the hopes that parents will actually look at them...
plus I am wanting to try and get my food costs down a bit by having meat free days...

so at the minute I have...

meat free monday (meat free obv!)
all around the world tuesday ( I look after a czech girl and a few african children so am cruising the net looking for ideas)

wednesday and thursday I am stuck with

fruity friday (smoothies, fruit kebabs with main meal obv!)

dont get ages to spend in the kitchen so quick easy ideas and budget friendly too for meals!

Wicked wednesdays! let the kids 'design' their own foods - fresh home baked pizza faces, mash and peas hedgehogs, sausages faces ... !!!

wicked wednesdays...

liking it!!!

would it be wrong to get some wraps, put loads of bowls of fillings...

eg chopped ham, sweetcorn, cheese etc etc etc let the kids fill their own wraps and serve with potato wedges/chips

or decorating pizzas

Great ideas! Mine love making their own sandwiches, it's the same sort of thing.

None of my parents are in the least bit concerned about what their child does or doesn't eat when they are with me.

I have sample menus but no-one ever wants to see them!

love the fish friday idea....how about wet wednesday - different soups? or finger tea thursday, picinic style food inside or out?

got me thinking now!
